Our complex located in the Aegiali bay co-operates with the Aegiali camping and apartments so that you can enjoy comfortable accommodation during your diving trip.
Sun beds, shaded outdoor seating, a naturally ventilated classroom, refrigerated drinking water, showers and toilets are also available in our center.
Born and bred Amorgian, as a boy of 6 years old, Dimitris was inspired by Jean Reno in Luc Besson’s film The Big Blue. When asked by his father what he wanted to do, he said ‘be a diver’. With over 17th years of training and experience, Dimitris founded Amorgos Diving Centre in 2007. He still teaches and is the first person most visitors meet on arrival.
Despite being a flight attendant for 17 years, providing service in the sky, the Big Blue won her heart! She, now successfully runs the Diving Center alongside Dimitris.

Giannis is an SSI Freediving Instructor as well as SSI Scuba Assistant Instructor. He used to be a competitive freediver with more than 13 National Records and member of the Greek National Team in various World Championships. Some of his performances include a close to 300m Dynamic Apnea, + 200m and +70m in Constant Weights without Fins. Furthermore, he is a speedboat captain, and a Certified Lifeguard.
Ben is a French SSI level 3 Freediving instructor. He’s been diving and teaching around the world for 5+ years. Exploring the cold Scottish waters, Mexican cenotes, exotic reefs in Thailand, Indonesia, and The Maldives and even diving in a volcanic crater in Nicaragua.
After training and competing in Static Apnea Ben can now hold his breath for more than 8 minutes.
Passionate about Freediving he loves to share his tips and knowledge with his students
Marialena is an SSI Scuba Diving Instructor and Freediving Assistant Instructor with a great passion for her job. She used to be a competitive freediver for many years before she jumps into Scuba Diving. She is also a Fin-Swimming coach and a Baby swimming instructor.
Renate or Rey to most, is a newly qualified SSI Scuba instructor for this season. She has always had a passion for the marine world and in 2021 also received her BSc of Marine biology. Even though she only started diving in the recent years, the water has been her comfort zone since she was little. She used to be a competitive swimmer and a part of her national sailing team (Estonia). Her desire is to combine her love of diving and the marine world to educate and inspire people to take better care of our oceans.
We are an SSI diving and snorkeling center offering a wide selection of courses and training experiences, canoe and SUP rentals, and daily boat trips for fun diving and snorkeling.
